1. ACCEPTING THESE TERMS
This document, our rules, policies and the other documents referenced make up our
Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). The Terms are a legally binding contract between you
and Gadget Convert. This contract sets out your rights and responsibilities when you
use our site. Please read them carefully.
2. CHANGES
Gadget Convert may amend the Terms at any time by posting a revised version on our
site. The revised version will be effective at the time we post it.
3. SERVICE
This is a service provided by Gadget Convert, wherein you offer to sell to Gadget
Convert your device after receiving a "quote" from us. Gadget Convert offers cash for
your unwanted electronics. Simply fill in the details on our website to get a personalized
quote within 60 minutes.
Once you are happy with the quote, follow instructions to arrange collection or postage.
We pay you same day item is collected/delivered to us. We offer free collection within a
20-mile radius of our location. Alternatively, you can post your item to us.
For every gadget that gets resold, we will help plant a tree in the UK. Gadget convert is
focused on putting people first and building a better world for future generations.
By participating in The Service, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth herein.
These Terms and Conditions are referred to as the "Agreement". If you have any
questions regarding the Agreement, please contact us. Any and all transactions
conducted on this site are solely the responsibility of Gadget Convert and such visitors.
4. ACCOUNT
Gadget Convert has the option of permitting its users to create an account however, the
same is not mandatory. You are not obligated to create an account in order to enjoy our
services. Kindly note that Gadget Convert will require your personal details for instance
bank details and address for purposes of sending payments once you are satisfied with
our quote for your gadget.
In the event you opt to open an account with Gadget Convert, please note that the
account is for your individual, personal use only, and you may not authorize others to
use your Account for any purpose. You are responsible for maintaining the
confidentiality of, and restricting access to, your Account and password, and you agree
to accept sole responsibility for all activities that occur under your Account or password.

You agree to contact us immediately of any breach of security or unauthorized use of
your account.
5. MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY
Gadget Convert Services are available only to, and may only be used by, individuals
who are 18 years or older who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law.
By using the Site or any Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18
years old and that all registration information you submit is accurate and truthful.
Gadget Convert may, in its sole discretion, refuse to offer access to or use of the Site or
any Gadget Convert Services to any person or entity. Moreover, Gadget Convert may
change its user eligibility criteria at any time. This provision is void where prohibited by
law, and the right to access the Site is revoked in such jurisdictions.
6. REQUIREMENTS
In order to complete a Sale or to complete any other transaction with Gadget Convert,
you must: (1) Provide true, up to date and accurate information about yourself and any
Product you submit for Sale or Purchase from us; (2) Transact on behalf of yourself and
not on behalf of others; (3) Comply with all terms and conditions of this Agreement; and
(4) Be at least eighteen (18) years old and have the legal ability to enter into an
agreement.
7. REMOVING DATA FROM YOUR DEVICE
You agree to remove all data and passwords from your current product before shipping
it. By sending Gadget Convert your device, you agree to, upon its acceptance by
Gadget Convert, release them from any claim as to the device, the data stored in such
device, or any information on any media used in conjunction with the device and which
you send to Gadget Convert, or for their security, integrity, confidentiality, disclosure or
use. You bear sole responsibility for removing or securing such data, or for transferring
it to a medium under your continuing control. Gadget Convert strongly recommends that
you back up your data and then erase the data from your hard drive. Gadget Convert
will make reasonable efforts to erase all data from items that are submitted through The
Service, but makes no guarantee in this regard. Any files or data left on your system
may be accessible to others if the data is not erased. Gadget Convert is not responsible
for securing, protecting, keeping secret or otherwise managing any form of data or
information resident on the device.
8. TESTING PROCESS
The device model number, its configuration, and condition must match what was
provided to Gadget Convert during the estimation. If they do not match, Gadget Convert
reserves the right to recalculate the trade-in value or reject the trade-in transaction. If
your device has an OS backup partition, restoration CDs are not necessary. If your
device does not have a backup partition, you will need to include the restoration CDs
and driver’s CDs with it. Failure to do so may affect your quote. We may, at our

discretion, offer some trade-in value for devices that display functional conditions that
we did not prompt for such as no boot or no power. However, we reserve the right to
reject any trade-in for conditions that effect the operation of an item. All devices are
inspected upon receipt by Gadget Convert. Gadget Convert has the option to accept or
deny the device prior to issuance of the Trade-In Value.
You agree to state the condition accurately and to the best of your ability based on this
site. Items with scratches, dents and/or display malfunctioning, whether appearing while
an item is powered on or off, will significantly impact the value you receive. Gadget
Convert does not consider any device to be in flawless or good condition if the device is
malfunctioning or shows excessive signs of wear (scratches, dents, scuffs, cracks). All
batteries must at least hold 70% of its original charge, otherwise it will be considered
malfunctioning. If your device is not shipped to Gadget Convert within 7 days of
received confirmation by e-mail or if its condition, as received, differs materially from
that which you described during the estimation process, Gadget Convert reserves the
right to recalculate the value using the same condition parameters originally available to
you. The testing process may take up to 48 business hours. Packing and shipping
recommendations should be followed in order to avoid possible damage or loss. SIM
cards, forgotten discs, etc., are discarded during the inspection process, and cannot be
returned to you.
9. MISREPRESENTATIONS
If your device has been misrepresented by you, we will contact you by email with a new
offer. You are not obligated to accept the new offer. If you choose reject this new offer
you may have your device returned to you at no cost, with few exceptions. If no
response is received in 48 hours, we will process your payment accordingly to the new
offer. This payment will be mailed to the name address you provided. After the payment
is issued, your device will be processed for recycling. Once it has been processed it
cannot be returned to you.

10. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree that you will be responsible for your use of the site, and you agree to defend
and indemnify Gadget Convert from and against every claim, liability, damage, loss, and
expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, arising out of or in any way
connected with: (i) your access to, use of, or alleged use of, the app; (ii) your violation of
any portion of these Terms, any representation, warranty, or agreement referenced in
these Terms, or any applicable law or regulation; (iii) your violation of any third party
right, including any intellectual property right or publicity, confidentiality, other property,
or privacy right; or (iv) any dispute or issue between you and any third party.
11. LIMITATIONS

In no event will Gadget Convert be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special,
consequential or punitive damages (including damages for loss of profits, goodwill, or
any other intangible loss) arising out of or relating to your access to or use of, or your
inability to access or use, the site or any materials or content available through the site,
whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other
legal theory, and whether or not Gadget Convert has been informed of the possibility of
damage.
12. FITNESS FOR SALE
You must own the right, title, and interest in any and all devices you seek to sell. Such
items, or the sale and shipment of such items, must not violate any applicable laws,
statutes, ordinances, or regulations including export laws. You are responsible for
complying with any and all such laws. Any device you seek to sell through the site using
our services: (1) shall not infringe on third party intellectual property rights (including
copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets or other proprietary rights), (2) shall not
be counterfeit, stolen, or fraudulent, (3) must be able to be transferred to a new owner.
You represent and warrant that the trade-in products are free of any liens or
encumbrances, including third-party software which may not be transferred or for which
royalties are due. By using The Service, you agree to indemnify Gadget Convert from all
claims or losses sustained by Gadget Convert as a result of any breach of this warranty.

13. PAYMENTS
Gadget Convert issues payments on the same day in the event your gadget and/or
device arrives at our location by 1600 hours which excludes Sunday. In addition to that
the payment shall only be made once we have ascertained that the gadget has no
issues and it is as you have described.
Our payments may take up to period of 5 business days. Gadget Convert does not
issue checks and makes all its payments by way of Direct bank transfers. Kindly note
that you are responsible for sending us the correct details.
14. RELEASING RIGHTS
The condition of your device will be finally determined by the test we run on your device
once it is delivered and processed. Once you receive a quote and/or offer confirmation
in the email, it will expire after 14 calendar days. Your device must be shipped and
delivered within this time frame. The free of charge return only applies to devices that
are fully functional. In the event the initial offer and/or quote expires, Gadget Convert
will issue a new offer if you have not taken any action within the 14 calendar days.

15. RISK OF LOSS
You remain responsible for the risk-of-loss for the products until delivery of the same to
Gadget Convert. You are responsible for any damages that may occur to your product
while in transit. Risk-of-Loss only passes to Gadget Convert upon the opening of the
packaging in which the Product was sent by you. If Gadget Convert denies your offer,
risk-of loss will be transferred to you at point of return delivery to you by Gadget
Convert, provided, pursuant to these terms and conditions; you request the return of the
product. In the event you want the gadget and/or device returned, we will fully pay for
the return cost of the gadget and/or device.
Prices offered by Gadget Convert are subject to, and will, change without notice;
Gadget Convert will terminate the offer at any time and without advanced notice. All
decisions of acceptance or denial of your offer to use The Service by Gadget Convert
are final. In the event of typographical errors, technical inaccuracies, or product pricing
errors or omissions, Gadget Convert reserves the right to correct the error at the point of
inspection. If Gadget Convert corrects the error, Gadget Convert will provide you with
the following options: (1) to proceed with the transaction based on the corrected
information; or (2) to cancel your transaction, in which case Gadget Convert will
promptly return the Product back to you.

16. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the
United Kingdom, without reference to its conflict of law provisions, and the obligations,
rights and remedies of the parties hereunder shall be determined in accordance with
such laws.
17. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
GADGET CONVERT, GADGET CONVERT'S SUBSIDIARIES, OFFICERS,
DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND GADGET CONVERT'S SUPPLIERS PROVIDE THE
SITE AND GADGET CONVERT SERVICES "AS IS" AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY
OR CONDITION, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY. GADGET CONVERT,
GADGET CONVERT'S SUBSIDIARIES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND
GADGET CONVERT'S SUPPLIERS SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF TITLE, MERCHANTABILITY, PERFORMANCE, FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
THE SITE, GADGET CONVERT SERVICES, AND ALL INFORMATION, CONTENT,
MATERIALS, PRODUCTS (INCLUDING SOFTWARE) AND OTHER SERVICES
INCLUDED ON OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU THROUGH THE SITE
OR THROUGH GADGET CONVERT SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY GADGET
CONVERT ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, UNLESS OTHERWISE

SPECIFIED IN WRITING. GADGET CONVERT MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR
WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO ANY GADGET
CONVERT SERVICES, THE OPERATION OF THE SITE, OR THE INFORMATION,
CONTENT, MATERIALS, PRODUCTS (INCLUDING SOFTWARE) OR OTHER
SERVICES INCLUDED ON OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU THROUGH
THE SITE OR OTHER GADGET CONVERT SERVICES, UNLESS OTHERWISE
SPECIFIED IN WRITING.
YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SITE AND/OR GADGET
CONVERT SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY APPLICABLE LAW, GADGET CONVERT
DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT
LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. GADGET CONVERT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE
SITE OR GADGET CONVERT SERVICES, INFORMATION, CONTENT, MATERIALS,
PRODUCTS (INCLUDING SOFTWARE) OR OTHER SERVICES INCLUDED ON OR
OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU THROUGH THE SITE, GADGET
CONVERT'S SERVERS OR ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS SENT FROM
GADGET CONVERT ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL
COMPONENTS. GADGET CONVERT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES
OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM THE USE OF ANY GADGET CONVERT SERVICES,
OR FROM ANY INFORMATION, CONTENT, MATERIALS, PRODUCTS (INCLUDING
SOFTWARE) OR OTHER SERVICES INCLUDED ON OR OTHERWISE MADE
AVAILABLE TO YOU, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO DIRECT, INDIRECT,
INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, UNLESS OTHERWISE
SPECIFIED IN WRITING.
18. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
IN NO EVENT SHALL GADGET CONVERT AND/OR (AS APPLICABLE) GADGET
CONVERT'S SUBSIDIARIES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES OR GADGET
CONVERT'S SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER,
WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, GENERAL, SPECIAL, COMPENSATORY,
CONSEQUENTIAL, AND/OR INCIDENTAL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE
CONDUCT OF YOU OR ANYONE ELSE IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE
SITE, GADGET CONVERT SERVICES, OR THIS AGREEMENT, INCLUDING
WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST PROFITS, BODILY INJURY, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS,
OR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
19. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement contains the entire agreement and understanding among the parties
hereto with respect to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes all prior and
contemporaneous agreements, understanding Gadget Convert, inducements and

conditions, express or implied, oral or written, of any nature whatsoever with respect to
the subject matter hereof.
